Farm Africa is a specialist international non-governmental organization dedicated to transforming lives in remote and resource-poor rural areas across East Africa. We achieve this by helping farmers and herders increase food production, maintain livestock health, and manage natural resources in a way that protects the environment for future generations. These roles are integral to the implementation of the 'Ecosystem-based Solutions for Biodiversity Conservation and Resilient Livelihoods' (ECOR) project in the Yayu Coffee Forest Biosphere Reserve.
Requirements
- Master’s Degree (MA/MSc) or Bachelor’s Degree (BA/BSc) in a related field
Responsibilities
- Lead the implementation of activities at the grassroots level, facilitating beneficiary selection and building the capacity of community-based organizations (CBOs)
- Provide the technical leadership necessary for ecosystem restoration and sustainable land-use practices
