The main purpose of the Position is to perform the day-to-day purchasing activities in a particular supply office according to MSF protocols and standards. Accountabilities include performing purchasing activities, analyzing market sources, and negotiating prices.
Requirements
BA Degrees in Purchasing and Supplies management, Management, Procurement and Supply chain management, Economics
At least 2 years’ experience in supply chain, procurement, and purchasing related jobs
Mission working language English in Addition to the local language
Responsibilities
Performing on a day-to-day basis the purchasing activities of a supply office
Analyzing market sources and competitive pricing conditions among different suppliers
Negotiating prices to guarantee the best quality and pricing for MSF goods and commodities
Updating the supplier-item-price data on the supply office
Obtaining different quotations from suppliers according to the MSF Purchasing policy
Managing the administrative and accounting procedures related to purchases
