Advancare Laboratories is seeking a Junior Safety Officer. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing and improving company quality standards and follow strategy to increase productivity.
Requirements
MA or bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Logistics, Business Administration or a related field.
10+ years of progressive experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management, with 3+ years in a managerial or leadership role.

Bachelor’s degree in occupational health and safety, Environmental Science, Medical Laboratory Science or a related field
Certification in health and safety is preferred
Minimum 2–3 years’ experience in a laboratory or healthcare safety role
Familiarity with ISO 15189, JCI, CLSI guidelines, and relevant national health and safety laws
License renewal certificate
Responsibilities
Develop, implement and improve company quality standards and follow strategy to increase productivity
Knowledge of document writing, review and critical thinking
Ability and knowledge to implement internal audit
Review non-conforming events including internal audit reports
Follow company rules and regulations
Capable of training and influencing others to adopt safe practices
Ability to work independently and collaboratively across teams
