The Junior Banker role is a foundational position within our branch operations, serving as a primary point of contact for our customers. As Gadaa Bank expands its footprint in locations like Holeta, Jimma, Metu, Assosa, and Kamise, Junior Bankers play a critical role in delivering the personalized and efficient service that defines our brand.
Requirements
- BA Degrees in Purchasing and Supplies management, Management, Procurement and Supply chain management, Economics
- At least 2 years’ experience in supply chain, procurement, and purchasing related jobs
- Mission working language English in Addition to the local language
- BA/BSc degree in Management, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field of studies.
- A minimum of 1 (one) year of relevant banking experience is required.
- Strong interpersonal communication, basic mathematical competence, and a commitment to high-quality customer service.
Responsibilities
- Performing the day-to-day purchasing activities of a supply office
- Analyzing market sources and competitive pricing conditions among different suppliers
- Negotiating prices to guarantee the best quality and pricing for MSF goods and commodities
- Updating the supplier-item-price data on the supply office
- Obtaining different quotations from suppliers according to the MSF Purchasing policy
- Managing the administrative and accounting procedures related to purchases
- Facilitating various banking transactions, assisting customers with account management, and promoting the bank's diverse range of financial products.
- Accurate financial record-keeping and a proactive approach to customer problem-solving.
- Ensuring seamless daily operations, Junior Bankers help maintain the trust and reliability that are essential for the bank’s long-term reputation.
